The platform

 

With deltaworks.ai, the consortium delivers a sovereign, scalable and modular private AI platform for regulated organizations. This enables them to securely unlock and enrich their data, knowledge and processes with (generative) AI, fully in line with European laws and regulations.

The platform combines private AI, data engineering, knowledge graphs and agentic orchestration into a single integrated solution that can be deployed immediately within existing IT landscapes (on-premise, hybrid or multi-cloud). This allows organizations to leverage the power of AI more quickly and securely.

The platform runs on various enterprise Kubernetes variants, including OpenShift (Red Hat) and Rancher (SUSE). Using proven technologies and methodologies, deltaworks.ai helps organizations to deploy cloud and (generative) AI securely, at scale and successfully, while meeting the most stringent privacy and compliance requirements. Why now?

 

The European digitalisation strategy and regulatory framework (including the AI Act, GDPR, DORA and NIS2) make digital sovereignty not a choice but a strict prerequisite. Organizations must be able to demonstrate that their AI and data platforms are secure, explainable, legally compliant, and independent of geopolitical and vendor lock-in risks.

At the same time, tech expert Bert Hubert warns that the Netherlands has become structurally “analog incompetent”, meaning in practice that vital systems – from social security to the judiciary – are highly dependent on US cloud services and therefore vulnerable to geopolitical disruptions.
